This policy explains what personal data PouchFillingMachine.net handles, why, and who else may receive it. It describes how the site works today. If something is unclear, ask us.

Responsible Entity

The site is operated by LINEVO, a packaging machinery brand. You can reach us at jacklau@linevopack.com. The legal entity name appears in quotations and contracts. We don't publish a company address on this site. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean LINEVO.

Data Collected

Quote form. Step 1 asks for your name, email address, destination country, product name and form, and pouch type. Fill amount and target output are optional, as are company name and a WhatsApp or phone number. Optional step 2 covers product properties, pouch dimensions and material, utilities such as voltage and compressed air, cleaning requirements, budget range, purchase timeline and free-text notes. Please don't include sensitive personal data. We don't need it for a packaging enquiry.

Attachments. You may attach up to 5 photos, drawings or PDF files. When file storage is configured, the files sit in private object storage and only authorized staff can open them. If storage isn't configured, the form says so and the files aren't kept.

Attribution data. To learn which pages lead to enquiries, your browser stores three things in browser storage: the first page you landed on, the referrer, and any campaign parameters in the link (UTM values). The first visit is kept for up to 90 days. The latest visit is kept for the browser session. When you submit the form, this information is sent with your request. We may also record the page you came from within the site.

Anti-abuse data. The form has a hidden field and a timing check to catch automated submissions. We store a salted, shortened hash of your IP address and your browser's user agent with the request, so we can investigate abuse. We don't store the raw IP address with the request. Repeated submissions in quick succession are rate limited.

WhatsApp clicks. A WhatsApp button on this site goes through our own address first. We record a reference ID, the page and button you used, and a hashed session identifier. We also set a cookie holding a random session token. Then we send you on to WhatsApp.

Analytics and cookies. When we enable an analytics service, such as Plausible or Google Analytics, it records page views and form events. Some analytics tools set cookies. Other storage covers things like your theme preference. Staff sign-in cookies apply to staff only. You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Purpose and Recipients

We use the data to respond to your request, review your product and pouch details, prepare a quotation, follow up and keep business records. We also use it to see which pages bring useful enquiries and to protect the site from spam and abuse. We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for automated decisions about you.

Data reaches these recipients only as needed to run the site and handle your request:

  • Our sales team, notified by email through an email provider when one is configured. The email contains the details you submitted.
  • Hosting and database providers that run the site and store requests.
  • Object storage that holds attachments, when configured.
  • An analytics provider, if one is enabled.
  • WhatsApp, if you choose to contact us there. It has its own privacy terms, and we don't control how it handles data.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Retention

We haven't set fixed retention periods. We keep enquiry data and attachments only as long as needed for the enquiry, the quotation and any resulting business relationship. After that, we delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner. Records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons may be kept as long as needed for that purpose.

Contact

Depending on where you are, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data. You may also be able to object to some uses, get a copy, or withdraw consent. To use any of these rights, or to ask a question, email jacklau@linevopack.com. Include the reference ID from your request if you have one. We may need to confirm you made the request. If you're unhappy with our reply, you may be able to contact your local data protection authority.

Updates

We may change this policy when the site or our practices change. The version on this page is the one in force. If a change affects data you already sent, we'll tell you where that is required.
